SITUATION: UPS needed a user rewards application where frequent and volume users would get a % back of the amount they have spent with UPS shipping. It would allow for levels of user groups.
TASK: For UX design, I received briefings layouts for application content, but no actual user research or data. As the user is really everyone, I based my design on best design, UX & accessibility practices.
ACTION: I designed the initial application based on an administrative user. The UX UI design used corporate branding & component library, followed usability guidelines, and aimed for an easy user journey.
RESULT: The design was well received, then modified according to marketing ideas which reduced its usability & accessibility, but the application will be developed and tested as a MVP.
